Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Nov 02 2023

It was good, but sad. I saved a couple songs. She seemed to have experience difficult circumstances - poverty, racism, DV, etc. I really would love to hear a younger female singer cover her song For My Lover in a simple way because the lyrics are beautiful. 3/5 because I would not listen to it again as its not my music taste but it was still good.

Not my cup of tea

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Nov 06 2023

Not really my cup of tea. We got the beat is the best song off the album but it is not something I'd try to listen to.

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Nov 07 2023

Decent listening experience. I get why it's an influential album but I'm not a jazz enthusiast as much, i.e. I won't ever select any of these tracks to listen to of my own perogative. Favourite song was Freddie Freeloader. 3/5

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Nov 14 2023

There's something crusty, dusty, and nostalgic about this music to me, which recalls memories of hearing these songs playing on low volume in the background from radio stations in old stores and rundown ski chalets. Favourite song: Welcome to the Jungle, Nightrain

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
Nov 15 2023

As someone less than half as old as this album, I can appreciate and see how it's been a trailblazer for artists that now create the music I now love, even if I don't find the tracks themselves music I'd choose to listen to. I see movie scenes playing alongside this album. You could convince me this is an OST. Favourite track: Autobahn, Kometenmelodie 2

The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
Nov 16 2023

Not my cup of tea.
