1001 Albums Summary

What I expected from a 70s rock album: lots of lead guitar. Some country aspect and slide guitar. Pretty decent!

I tend to prefer later Beatles albums to this, but there’s no denying this is chock full of great pop songs. You can understand why the world went mad for them as it was quite unlike anything else at the time.

I like a lot of hip hop but this is puerile nonsense. The music is fine, but the content is full of misogyny and I just can’t stomach it.

This is great! I've heard a couple of songs before but not the whole album.

Obviously I know the famous tracks from this which sort of skews things a bit as the others didn't stand out as much. I would like to listen to this again at some point as the ones I know are amazing.

Pretty good. I like some grunge but Screaming Trees had passed me by - only really know Lanegan from his work with QOTSA.

Hey this is great! I didn't think I knew anything by the Go-Go's but it turns out I already knew We Got the Beat

I could only manage about 4 songs of this. I am not a fan of Thin Lizzy and I do not particularly care for live albums.
