C'est Chic
CHICThe first song was unbearable - but the everything past that was surprisingly enjoyable. Didn’t think it would catch my attention like it did. I may listen to it again.

So, I knew ‘Gimme Shelter’ and ‘Country Honk’, but this was a first time hearing the rest of the album. It was fine, nothing too horrible to skip but nothing I’d ever repeat, well I guess I’d turn ‘Gimme Shelter’ up if it came on the radio but I’d likely change the station if any of these other songs came on. I liked the production, it had a very nice balance and everything kinda hit me in the face - if I listen to more Stones in the future, I look forward to that premium production sound.
Fantastic. Listened to this album dozens of times; one of my favorite Queen records, also one of my favorite rock records. Front to back, strong songwriting, excellent production; Freddie’s vocals are superb. Love this album.
I listened to the non-remastered version as for some reason Spotify didn’t have ‘The Happiest Days of Our Lives’ on the remastered version. And wow, what a day 2 album. Literally one of my favorite albums of all time. Superb. Amazing mix of shock, psychedelic, pop and rock. What can I say? It’s a masterpiece from beginning to end. I’d recommend listening to this twice if this is your first time hearing, it’s magical.

Every song sounded the same, and the sound isn’t particularly good. I recognized the 2 big hits on there. Nothing bad but definitely not a band I’d delve into their discography for.

I didn’t like it very much. I like Bowie’s other stuff, but this was when he was doing his new wave stuff or something; just sounded like random noise without a purpose.
