Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Nov 13 2023

The origins of rock n roll are heard throughout this whole album…incredible…the guitar riffs through the opener Blue Suede Shoes are definitely foreshadowing of what was to come…crazy to think it’s basically a record of covers…props to the great musicians who originally wrote these songs… Highlights for me: - Trying to get to you - Blue moon - Money honey - I got a woman - Blue Suede Shoes

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Nov 14 2023

This album is too all over the place… I mean, tiny dancer is one of the greatest songs ever written. But overall the flow of this album seems too random for me to have another listen. Highlights for me include tiny dancer, and the title track madman across the water

The masterpiece…incredible album with so much influence and impact…the entire album is pure gold to me and so glad it’s on this list…

Nov 16 2023

I certainly understand the influence this album had on bands, like The Who, and the Beatles, and the Beach boys, and all of the other solid bands of this era. But for me, this isnt an album that I wouldn’t listen to again in almost any circumstance. Very few stand out songs in my opinion. All that said, I do respect the artistry of the Kinks especially compared to their Brit Rock counterparts… Highlights: Last of the steam powered trains, Wicked Annabella

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Nov 17 2023

It’s like of Pink Floyd had a confusing step brother…prog rock with a saxophone… The 70’s were wild man… Highlights for me: Bloody Well Right
