6.5/10 - More politically active than I expected, and it was interesting to hear rock that sounds like the Beatles but is very explicitly criticizing various aspects of Britain. Interesting for this reason, but not my something I would choose to listen to very often. Favorites - 1. Nothing to Say 2. Victoria 3. Drivin’ 4. Shangri-La 5. Yes Sir, No Sir
8/10 - I liked this album much, much more than I thought I would. It felt cohesive without being repetitive, and the length of the album was perfect. There weren’t any standouts on the album for me, though. Favorites, in no particular order - Unhappy Birthday Paint a Vulgar Picture Girlfriend in a Coma A Rush and a Push and the Land is Ours Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me
7/10 Angsty Sheryl Crow. Enjoyed it a surprising amount. The production is rich and full. My favorite songs were the first 5 on the album, though. Did not get better as it went along.
Incredible funk album. Every song but Night of the Thumpasorus Peoples is great. Songs can stretch on a little.
