Blonde On Blonde
Bob Dylan
This could possibly be my favourite album of all time. It’s definitely the best double album in my opinion.
Opening with Rainy Days Woman and ending with Sad Eyes Lady of the Lowlands the record is sprawling with classic Dylan masterpieces such as Visions of Johanna, Just Like a Woman, Stuck Inside a Mobile and Fourth Time Around and I Want You.
My favourite track on the album is Visions of Johanna.

Enjoyed the groove of this album. All instrumental but varies in style, this is a funky and timeless classic.

Born To Run
Bruce Springsteen
Solid album with the title track being a standout. Very anthemic at points with moments of gentle introspection. Springsteen is a master of championing the ‘everyday’ man. An enjoyable listen.

Unknown Pleasures
Joy Division
A very atmospheric, powerful and dark album with amazing lead vocals from Ian Curtis. A classic album that I will never tire of listening to, always being made aware of slight nuances and moments of brilliance throughout. The opening track Disorder is my favourite on the album.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
This is my first proper listen to any of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers albums and I was not disappointed. There was a lot of variety in the scope of the tracks from this classic rock behemoth. I found it an enjoyable and easy listen. My standout track was American Girl the album closer.

Revolver
Beatles
An undoubted masterpiece, Revolver is constantly vying for first position as my favourite and best Beatles album along with Abbey Road and the White Album.
Songs such as Eleanor Rigby, I’m Only Sleeping, Here, There and Everywhere, She Said She Said and For No One are exquisite examples of descriptive songwriting but it is the closing track Tomorrow Never Knows where the Beatles create new territories and arguably produce the first dance song in popular music.

Time Out Of Mind
Bob Dylan
A true return to form from Dylan with an album that took me a few listens to get into. My personal favourite track being Not Dark Yet.
