1999 by Prince

Can get into this relatively easy, though still not grooving 100%. Some of the interludes are fairly....odd and uncomfortable.

Kid A by Radiohead
Nov 22 2023

Absolutely LOVED this album. Hadn't listened to a lot of Radiohead prior to this outside of big hits. It was suggestive and provided a really solid beat, but didn't command my attention with aggressive lyrics or in-your-face riffs. It's just incredibly solid music and I can see why this is considered an influential album. Additionally, Tidal recommended some great music after this album that I loved - all turned out to be either Radiohead or solo stuff from members of the band - all of which were really great to try out.

Fun House by The Stooges
Nov 23 2023

Still didn't have a great deal of time to listen to this one, but based on the early part of the album, it's immediately the style and energy I love. I will be diving into this on a non-holiday day when I can get into the garage sounds!

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Nov 24 2023

Pretty good. I enjoy Dylan as a whole, however, listening to an entire album straight through has been a bit taxing in the past and this album proves no different. I can see why this was very influential to so many artists in various genres. If I listen to the music deeply, I appreciate it more. Just casually listening while doing other things kind of ruins the sound and experience of the music.

My Generation by The Who
Dec 11 2023

Too trebly and tinny. Loud for the era but not my favorite.

Come Find Yourself by Fun Lovin' Criminals
Dec 13 2023

Surprisly good album! 90s hip-hop with some interesting guitar/music.
