Just beautiful. Slow songs that just take you away, heavier songs that make the lyrics scream. Beautiful album. 5/5
While I appreciate the album, and understand the success of Nirvana, this just reinforces my dislike of the music. It just isn’t for me. I do not like Kurt’s guitar or singing. Overall I would rate it 4/5, but since it’s my personal notation, 1/5.
Really nice album. 4/5 Upon subsequent listens, the album is just really solid. It catches quick and doesn’t let up. This should be out of 10, I feel a 9/10 would be good since I can give 4.5/5. It isn’t a 5/5 so I guess 4/5 still.
I never thought of myself as a Janis Joplin fan. After listening to this album, I am a changed man. I did not dislike her music, I just hadn’t given it a chance. So soulful, haunting, and beautiful. Very pleased with this album. 4/5
While I appreciate the talent, and in fact like The Allman Brothers Band, at lest clean cut songs, studio, not live music. I am not a jam band fan. All that said, I feel this album might hold a place when taking LSD or another psychedelic. The jam band tend to really shine when tripping. 1/5
Fantastic follow up to PHM. This concept album is phenomenal. Watching Trent play this live in the 90s was amazing…and makes me feel so old,
Not my choice…1/5
Is ok, not bad, not good. Solid 3. A lot of these albums unfortunately lose from not being heard when they came out. They had a lot more impact then. 3/5
