Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters"Alone + Easy Target" has some Nirvana vibes, tracks leading up to this one were kinda bland though, feels like dad rock a bit, the other tracks after that are more grungy again

groovy vibe, has some jazz samples I think, a lot like The Roots, I dig it, the religious themes are meh, but they're not that overt, so it's fine
interesting voice, good song writing, nice melodies, but I can already tell this is not gonna be an interesting album for me, the songs sound like they go nowhere
Too ambient and slow or passive for me, not much melodic content
cool rhythms on "Modern Man", other than that not very memorable, it's not bland or anything, just not really my cup of tea, they definitely do have their own sound
stereo image on Happy Jack is nice, was already vaguely familiar with the material of The Who, decent live album, but could almost be a studio record, were it not for the spoken interludes, spoken stuff is mixed a bit low and only in the right channel for some reason
the melodic stuff is a bit repetitive it seems, cool guitar stuff obviously, Eruption is a classic for a reason, but I think I enjoy that kinda stuff more with a full band behind it, cool bass tone on Ain't talkin' 'bout Love, even though the bass line is pretty boring, nice vocals and harmonies too, cool bluesy tune with Ice Cream Man
good psychedelic, latin rock stuff, groovy and jazzy, I love all the percussion stuff as usual in latin music, I like the spanish tracks more than the english ones
seems interesting instrumentally, the vocal feature on track 1 is pretty bland though, lacks dynamics for me, track is is too repetitive overall, lacks clear and memorable melodies
typical brit pop/rock stuff, some decent tones I guess, but otherwise it's just bland and boring to me, focus on lyrics I think, which is not my thing, Life's an Ocean has a cool groove and interesting sounding drums
interesting latin sounding opener, cool guitars in the background, it's also a tribute to Fela Kuti which is cool, overall really groovy and jazzy, nice and long album too, I like that a lot over the very short albums, nice and funky outro on Nag Champa, thought it was leading into the next track, but that took another turn
cool beat on All I really want, the monotone delivery in the vocals is interesting, don't know though, if it's exactly what I like, the weird almost voice cracks are a bold choice, definitely a memorable voice, again not really what I enjoy, You oughta know has an excellent bouncy bass line, generally really high energy throughout the whole record
vocals are not my cup of tea, decent instrumentals, but also not enough going on
