Bluesy, Rock, Surreal, Psychedelic? That's just Whole Lotta Love! It's full of changes, edge of the seat stuff. The guitar riffs *chef's kiss*. Self indulgent to the extreme

Not the greatest Beatles album but a massive leap forward, even with some weak entries like "Michelle" and "What Goes on". Should this be a 3? Feels hard giving it a 4 when I know Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper exists

I like what that the 20 minute intro is trying to mix it up a bit but it really isn't good enough to hold my attention that long and leaves the listener exhausted ahead of the average/mid range songs that follow
