Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Nov 30 2023

Sweet Child O’ Mine is a much better song than I remember. Overall, listening to this album was not a negative experience, but I found myself losing focus to it as it progressed. I also would zone back in during some moments of vulgarity that were not my favorite, which typically doesn’t bother me, but I would not say it was a bad album by any means. Definitely found myself nodding along to the songs. Metal rock album, as expected.

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Dec 01 2023

I did not know anything about this album before listening. I don’t typically like guitar solos but found myself really nodding along with Down By The River. “It’s the woman in you that makes you want to play this game” 10/10. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this album, seemed to be a good mix of rock and folk. May have had one too many guitar solos for my personal taste and found myself losing focusing sometimes, but would listen again!

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Dec 04 2023

I had never heard of this album before. It was quite a struggle to get through. Definitely not my type of music, too repetitive with some unpleasant sounds throughout. I love lyricism, which is definitely missing.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Dec 05 2023

I had heard some songs from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs before listening to this album. However, my expectations were way exceeded upon listening! I loved the balance of slower and faster songs, as well as the inclusion of strong string and percussion instruments. Definitely will listen again and to more things from this band.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Dec 06 2023

Let’s Stay Together was better than I could have imagined. Incredibly soulful and beautiful! It has reignited my love for soul and will be listening to again.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Dec 07 2023

Another artist I was somewhat familiar with but my expectations were exceeded. Let’s Get It On was better than I had remembered and each song I was nodding my head to. Very soulful and enjoyed thoroughly!

Station To Station by David Bowie
Dec 08 2023

Had not listened to much by David Bowie but enjoyed this album. Some slower parts in my opinion but overall enjoyed.

Who's Next by The Who
Dec 12 2023

Another band I had heard of but never listened to. Thoroughly enjoyed but am interested to hear more from them.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Dec 20 2023

Not what I expected! Kept getting distracted by the noises that they add in the background but overall was enjoyable to listen to and liked the range.
