Nice album very chill
Fun album, like the vibe
Beautiful jazzy album most of the time. Sometimes lacked melody (especially in Freddie Freeloader) which I didn’t enjoy much.
Really enjoyed this album. Great vocals. The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver was my favourite song. Need to explore Elbow more.
Not what I was expecting from an Earth, Wind and Fire album. I was expecting more disco type songs. I enjoyed the jazzy cuts, but a few songs contained sections that were completely separate from the rest of the song, which made it sound like a new song was starting. Whilst the sections weren’t bad, the disconnection from the rest of the song felt unnecessary.
Really liked this album. Amazing piano and all-round great music. Not the biggest fan of the vocals, but the rest of the music more than makes up for it. The songs go in directions you weren’t thinking they would go in, and you could head-bop to them.
Ngl didn’t finish the album. Not a fan of country music and legit I just hear Take Me Home, Country Roads in every single one. Good vocals, and I often liked the melodies, but I find the guitar and percussion very repetitive and uninspiring.
Didn’t finish album. Found it boring. The vocals were too soft and I wasn’t a fan of the singing
Pretty cool funky album. Had songs that commented on social aspects, but also some really cool bops and some beautiful instrumentals
One of those singers that always sounds slightly out of tune. Still enjoyed the album a little bit.
