Listening statistics & highlights
This album was, amongst others, the soundtrack to my teens. Certain songs are hugely nostalgic, others make me want to scratch my eyes out, mostly due to Liam's nasally warble. I'm going to stick to listening to the Oasis tracks on an individual basis.
This is a well curated soul album, that emphasises Issac's incredible voice. However, for me, the elongated verbal intro on 'by the time I get to Pheonix', the jazz overtones and psychadelic R&B make it a hard listen.
A classic album which I have somehow avoided listening to in it's entirety. It has some stand out tracks on it and one of the best album covers of all time, but the psychadelia and circus influences are not for me.
Melodic, well crafted and jazzy. This album made me want to immediately book a flight to Cuba!
A solid track selection, shame about the Phil Spector association.
