Pearl by Janis Joplin
Jan 01 2024

Move Over. Cry Baby. My Baby. Me & Bobby McGee. Get it While You Can. Mostly solid all around - nice rocky folk album. Would think it's all about the singer, but the backing band brings a lot.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Jan 02 2024

Like I have anything new to say about Abbey Road.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jan 03 2024

Do I have to? Outside of the two singles, I'm not finding much here my ear likes. I might not mind RHCP when they aren't so funky? Also never noticed the heavy mouth harp in Give it Away before. Not as bad as I expected, but nothing that changed my mind too much.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jan 06 2024

In my useless opinion, this was the perfect blend album between the rocking Radiohead and the bleep bloop Radiohead. I remember my dad stating once he preferred early Beatles boy band sound to their later experimental phases, and I thought he was an idiot - but that would be Radiohead for me. Growing up with Radiohead, I was a sucker for the early albums and started to fall off post OK Computer, but this album was a reminder for me that the band was still solidly putting out amazing music, even if it wasn't always for me or clicking how it used to.

Not really my style of music, but hard to deny how good it is. Sing well.

Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Jan 18 2024

Nothing terrible, but not my favorite batch of Dylan songs. A few solid tracks however. Still nice.

So that's where Gulided Splinters came from.

Boston by Boston
Jan 27 2024

I've listened to this so many times it's hard to be unbiased. As far as basic guitar/drum classic rock, I don't think you can get much better.

S.F. Sorrow by The Pretty Things
Jan 28 2024

Maybe if I listened a few more times I would find it more to my liking.

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Jan 31 2024

Only made it two songs. Might've enjoyed it at a younger age, now it sort of gave me a headache. Not for me.
