album one overall ranking: 21st century schizoid man: 2.5/5 i talk to the wind: 2/5 epitaph: 3.5/5 moonchild: 1/5 the court of the crimson king: 3.5/5 a man a city: 2/5 cool album, i understand why others would like it and the reason why it is so influential, i just can’t get into it 👍 i feel like i would like it more if the songs weren’t as long favorite: title track

album two sky saw: 4/5 over fire island: 3/5 st. elmo’s fire: 5/5 in dark trees: 3.5/5 the big ship: 4/5 i’ll come running: 5/5 another green world: 3/5 sombre reptiles: 4/5 little fishes: 3/5 golden hours: 4.5/5 becalmed: 3/5 zawinul/lava: 3/5 everything merges with the night: 4/5 spirits drifting: 3.5/5 i enjoyed this album way more than i thought it would. usually an album that includes a majority of instrumental songs would bore me, but that wasn’t the case here i think it works best to listen to the complete body of work rather than just listening to the individual songs (that’s why my ranking is so high compared to the song rankings)

album five maggot brain: 1.5/5 can you get to that: 3.5/5 hit it and quit it: 4/5 you and your folks, me and my folks: 3.5/5 super stupid: 4.5/5 back in our minds: 4/5 wars of armageddon: 2/5 the first and the last song we’re not that great, but that could just be because i’m not a fan of long songs. the other ones were good tho. it’s honestly hard to rate this, because i want to give it a 5 but the two songs just really hold it down :( favorite: super stupid

album three since i left you: 4/5 stay another season: 3/5 radio: 3/5 two hearts in 3/4 time: 3/5 avalanche rock: 2/5 flight tonight: 4/5 close to you: 4/5 diners only: 2/5 a different feeling: 2.5/5 electricity: 3.5/5 tonight may have to last me all my life: 3/5 pablo’s cruise: 2/5 frontier psychiatrist: 5/5 etoh: 1.5/5 summer crane: 2/5 little journey: 3/5 live at dominoes: 4/5 extra kings: 3/5 favorite: frontier psychiatrist i liked this album, however towards the end it started to feel really long and boring. i think it would have been better if it were shorter tbh. i liked the sampling, it felt very fresh but on some songs it was a little too much. overall this album is great and id recommend it 👍
