1001 Albums Summary

Album was perfect for cooking a hello fresh meal. Not too long, not to short. Good balance of songs and tempos

One of their early albums, tough to get a quality copy. So much modern music is based on the chords and arrangements these guys out together. A true pop origins album

UK Punk from 1979, Embryonic of new wave... just missing a synth

Having been introduced to Paul Simon by my parents in the 70s, and seeing him later in life, this album really opened my appreciation of his talents, and his soothing voice and melodies. The inclusion and his use of ladysmith black mambazo also exposed many to the world sounds that were becoming popular at the time.
