1001 Albums Summary

I haven't listened to much of The Smiths and this felt like a good intro. I really liked Big Mouth Strikes Again, and then afterwards I listened to The Cure for an hour.

3. That's not the number of stars I'm giving this album, it's the number of grams of cocaine that I imagine my Dad managed snort while listening to this 30 minute LP.

Some certified bangers and some sleepers!

I feel compelled to give this 5 stars even though the music is pretty awful. I was like 11 when I heard it and then after the singer killed himself I see all these angsty teenage lyrics in a new light.
