Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jan 10 2024

Very weird album...technically proficient but what mood do I have to be in to enjoy this??? I'm not going to be singing along with these songs anytime soon. This is definitely Portland why am I alive music.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack

Blech...1991...Why is everyone so obsessed with electric bass and keyboards...because that's what's new and hot at the time. Trip hop is such an aspirational title for this. I kinda get the trip part but hop? more like weird jazz or reggae. The lyrics are pretty forgettable as well which is kinda where I'm at on this one...1991 a time I'd rather forget.

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan

not terrible I can see why people like it. early rock and roll turned electric vibes

Who's Next by The Who
Jan 15 2024

Amazing. can't believe all these great songs are on one album. crazy. I know like every song on this one and I'm not even of the era and didn't know much about the who before their superbowl appearance....crazy.

Odelay by Beck

Some of the songs are ok. A bit weird... 90's funk is funky and weird.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
