1001 Albums Summary

+pretty minimalist -- sounds FANTASTIC +mesmerising flow, lyrics i smile at +beat in the background equally so +i can feel the bass +kind of reminds me of lofi music??? +sounds repetitive to me at times -- all the songs sound pretty similar +just not a genre i'm super into 7/10

my first experience with lorde is when tilly told me that lorde is her favourite artist, and that she is really good. i listened to lorde and did not like her +my first reaction to the 1st song was to start tearing up because i couldn't believe i was listening to lorde unironically +definitely a RADIO ARTIST -- she is not someone i would listen to elsewhere +not a fan of techno pop +so many sounds, yet so BORING +listening to this feels like a joke i can't believe i sat through this album. so boring. all the same. the songs weren't even good. 2.5/10

+pretty decent guitar +nothing too notable about the album apart from that +AGAIN, i keep saying this, a lot the songs aren't easily distinguishable (at least on the first listen) +big ten inch??? EXCUSE ME??? anyway, that song kinda stood out to me reminded me more of rockabilly not notable. it's just mediocre rock mostly 6/10

grunge rock isn't really my genre, nor is nirvana a band that i enjoy. meaning never is something i seek in a song (and i assume in utero is one of those albums), generally it just needs to please my ears, and this album hasn't really done it for me. dropped the album halfway through, couldn't bother 4/10

good album, all songs very catchy and i feel the need to head-bop. PAUL MCCARTNEY COLLAB???? 😍😍😍😍😍 pretty great 8/10

already listened but let's listen again the first 4 songs are the only good ones and then it just DIPS from there. i do not enjoy the rest, they're... mid at best. just preference obviously and, even though those 4 songs are songs i ENJOY, they are obviously outweighed by songs which i don't 5.25555555555555555555555555/10??? (some other songs were kinda somewhat good? but idk they just weren't it overall)

actually BETTER THAN EXPECTED. i came in expecting some shitty indie rock album (no clue why?? average reviews are quite low) i enjoyed this. this album, for me and my tastes, was different and sort of weird. but i liked it. some songs DO feel like "background music" as reviewers comment, but others feel like "a soundtrack for a movie that doesn't exist" like others say. overall, a fun experience. 6.5/10
