Classic Eric Clapton sound. Great guitar sound and Brit blues sound. Great album
I can understand why this album was influential, and I can see how listening to some of this tracks in a club setting in the late 90s could be a great experience. However, I was listening to this on my way to work and found it repetitive and uninspiring.
An absolutely amazing album. It is the classic atemporal rock that only the Rolling Stones can produce. Catchy tunes like Brown Sugar, acoustic masterpieces like Wild Horses, rock ballads, and Mick Jagger screaming. What else would you need in an album?
