1001 Albums Summary

- I am familiar with the Kinks and have previously listened to a few of their songs including the titular song on the album 'We Are the Village Green Preservation Society'. This was the first time that I had listened to the album all the way through. I enjoyed the fairly upbeat nature of the album which got surprisingly sinister?toward the end. It is a much longer album than I would normally listen to in full but I enjoyed and would listen again.

An album I guess I was aware of but it had never occurred to me to listen to the album. I have wanted to diversify my music taste for a while and this seems like a good way to break out of the typical sad/indie pop I’ve been listening to recently. Much more chill than I anticipated but not a bad thing. I enjoyed this album

I feel like I had a shadow memory of this album, I recognised the album cover(of which I am a fan) but I had no idea what to expect in terms of the genera of the album as I didn’t read the context before listening. As I’m currently in Stockholm I couldn’t listen to the album in full but I enjoyed what I listened to so far. I’m not sure how often I will listen to it regularly but I know that this album will definitely grow on me.

Was ok. Just not my style of music enjoyed for studying but I found the pieces were quite long
