Funkadelicincredibly rocking album, dark and intense and sometimes funny, sexy, sad

some bangers on this one, and some notoriously bad ones. lol. idk. i love the police (the band)
the tracklisting for this album is crazy, some of the most famous and classic beatles songs sandwiched between the campiest, dorkiest songs ever composed. she's so heavy tickled me on this listen like, this was the heaviest shit in rock music at this time. and it goes hard. still a paul stan for life sgt peps gang 100 love his voice and bass playing!!
absolute bangers all the way through, so warm and full of passion, rocking without pretension
really gorgeous sounding record, still prefer slits cover of grapevine tho
i fucking love flea like..... hes a legend. The great tracks are amazing (suck my kiss, give it away) and there is way too much horny rapping
it was alright, i was printing while listening so i didn't get the names of any tracks i really liked, it was a pleasant listen
ok this is a really cool album. not the most sophisticated electronic music ive consumed this year but some really fantastic blending of brazilian jazz and techno elements. listened to this record twice today because it is so soothing and interesting to listen to
honestly a more fun listen than expected. kick push is a cute 2007 teenage banger. love the 13min track at the end where he shouts out everyone and everything
really enjoyed listening to this while printing, 60s pop goes off. her voice is beautiful!
this shit was so bad, it was almost funny, but then i would check to see how much more of it i had to go, and it was many more songs, and it was not funny at all. truthfully terrible. i have listened to beautiful day many times and had no idea the rest of the record was so bad. i was listening and in denial like how are they this famous? how did they become one of the biggest rock bands in the world? brian eno let this happen? what was wrong with their fans? i truly never feel like this, like a piece of music is actually hard to listen to or actively terrible. im shocked at myself. bono is so annoying. his lyrics are so lame. cant believe people hate on coldplay when this is the most inflated, vapid arena rock ive ever heard in my life
love tribe called quest. such a warm funky album. fell asleep listening to it
ah yes.... one of my favorite albums by possibly my most favorite band. have listened to this album hundreds and hundreds of times. was not paying a ton of attention while listening to this one since.... check my last fm scrobbles from the last ten years.... ive heard it so many times. but i do think the tracklisting is perfect, the electronic elements are so surreal, and the brief glimpses into trad guitar band arrangement are so deliciously sparse and rewarding... truly one of my favs. incredible cover art. my biggest qualm here is that the untitled song at the end of motion pic soundtrack has been added as its OWN SONG!!! and therefore compromises the actual runtime of the album as WAS INTENDED..... get your shit together streaming services. anyways love you radiohead, it's sad you're zionists :(
one of my favvvvvs from high school. listening to this album so loud with my over ear headphones at all hours of the day. gave myself tinnitus lol. some tracks hit super new and different now that its been like ten years of listening and loving electronic and sample based music, etoh in particular. just truly an incredible record
i love a tribe called quest lol buggin out is still top track to me
great samples, great beats, hilarious skits, i love some early dated hiphop. flavor flav
honestly really liked this more than i thought i would, usually not much of a nin listener but the synths, clanging percussion, trents voice, and general arrangements won me over. love that warbly piano moment that returns for hurt
i never understood the appeal of spiritualized or spacemen 3 when i was in high school. im 29, having now tripped a handful of times i TOTALLY get it now. cover art is so sick also
reminds me of us maple, but with skits!
