Going through each song: Coat of Many Colors - beautiful heart to the song Traveling man - yikes momma steals your man, “that’s rough buddy” My Blue Tears - relatable, love sitting in my sorrows If I lose my mind - imagine needing your mom, hurts, yeah I should call her The mystery of the mystery- very inquisitive, one for the philosophers She’s never met a man she didn’t like - Oof, dolly let him go if he doesn’t want you he’s stupid. Early Morning Breeze - favorite background music of the album I think, song aesthetic is cottage core, The Way I See you - gross, love, blagh Here I am - sorry Dolly but Spirit’s Here I am can’t be beat, still very sweet and v me, hopefully A better Place to live - but I love finding faults hehe kidding, sweet song. Album #2: John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme A Love Supreme - Acknowledgement - Resolution - Pursuance - Psalm The lungs on the sax player holy hell Love how the instruments play off one another and play against each other. Songs that make me think of love and adoration, being in awe of something or someone. Based on my taste in music: 3.9/5 Pretending to be a music critic: 4.5/5

Brilliant Corners Day Three of Albums and Day Two of hearing Olivia quote “Do you like jazz??” From the bee movie Ba-Lue Bolivar Ba-Lues-Are Pannonica I Surrender, Dear Bemsha Swing Once again the lungs on these artists. Damn. Sleuthy vibes, it’s giving six of crows x pink Panther x Thomas crown affair x jazz. I love it. Based on my taste in music: 4.2/5 Pretending to be a music critic: 4.7/5

- Baba O’Riley intro still goes hard as does the rest of it. Song also makes me think of stranger things now. - Bargain Great instrumentals. Appreciate a man getting close to knowing how much a woman is worth - Love Ain’t For Keeping Tbh I think I’m missing the point but still sounded great - My Wife Knowing a woman’s strength, let’s keep this going - she will kick your ass - The Song is Over Petition to make this our national anthem - Getting In Tune Definitely sex related. The “I’m getting in tune right on you” makes me think he’s talking about cumming on her but that’s because my mind is in the gutter always but still knowing rock bands at the time it fits the shoe. But anyway I like it. The song. Not necessarily the euphemism, I’ve heard better ones. Once again instrumentals are perfect - Going Mobile lol this should be in the soundtrack of the rover De Niro grandpa comedy movie - Behind Blue Eyes I know what it’s like to be the bad man, just behind brown eyes. The one I’m most emotionally connect to in terms of lyrics - Won’t Get Fooled Again Here for it. Too tired for coherent thoughts but I like it. Overall amazing album that I highly highly enjoy but have a lower emotional attachment to lyrics. - talking about a revolution - Fast car Kills in such a good way - Across the lines Would have been a great song to get into in my music class. “They kill the dream of America” yup yup yup - behind the wall Heard - baby can I hold you Ugh love stab me in the heart sorry Tracy not personal, beautiful song, I just can’t stomach it - mountains o things - She’s got her ticket I certainly want to fly away - why Let’s hear it, keep it going - for my lover I am a fool and I didn’t do enough. I think I’m losing sight of the purpose of commenting on these songs lol. Anyway it’s really great. - if not now - For you Really mentally tired/not there so won’t be doing as much notes or a close listen. Love her voice and her songs like sit on my chest. Not like hitting me but just kind of chilling there you know lol. In a good way. Beautiful album that packs many punches. Hits on a range of topics and emotions and her voice is one that breaks them all open and shares it all with the listener. Based on my taste in music: 4.75 Pretending to be a music critic: 4.5

Album #6 Radiohead’s Amnesiac Hehe the album cover is giving Rothko Once again not putting a lot into these notes :( Very unexpected bc apparently Radiohead is not a heavy metal band like I thought lol. I did really enjoy it the music is kind of haunting/entrancing and would put on again if in the mood for that. Seems very of its own kind, very singular. I enjoyed it. Album #7 Dusty Springfield’s A Girl Called Dusty So far I am very here for it, love the voice and currently I relate hard so it just makes it that much better. Very distracted and have listened to it 4 different times but still haven’t been able to do a more focused listening on the second half of the album. From what I could gather I did really enjoy it.
