1001 Albums Summary

A great album that reflects a return to metal rock. Too bad Axel is such an asshole.

One of best rock albums of all time. Some of the songs do meander, though nothing splits from the general mood of the album. I grew up with California rock, and I always appreciate some of the callbacks to the band's Country roots.

A clear definer of alt-rock punk, that influenced some of the best rock artists of the 21st century.

Good for a slow, melancholic morning. Not really my cup of tea, though.

A chaotic, jumbled mess with little cohesion, this album requires a lot of patience. It’s not the Talking Heads’ best album, but it establishes their penchant for random artistry that has sometimes paid off. New wave is just not my favorite kind of music.
