There are definitely better beck albums, but definitely his best work after the boring nothingness that sea change was. Girl, black tambourine, and Go it alone are my favorite tracks

Pretty good for RHCP, some classics, some skips

She has a very beautiful voice, and imagine the music was very impressive for its time, but it’s just not my thing I get very bored with music like this

Great record, not as elaborate as midnight marauders or low end theory, but lots of cool beats, very groovy. Ham n eggs is a funny ass song

Definitely isn’t like a work of art as far rap goes, but it’s a super fun listen
