1001 Albums Summary

Album no. 1/1001. Okay, a little rambly without clear stand-out for me. Somewhat messy (jazz way) but okay. Hopefully there will be jazz albums I prefer. 2/5

Album no. 2/1001. Not my thing! Maybe the 70s is not my decade...

Album no. 3/1001 Great, album with Common People and other songs fit well. British, rock, catchy, good memories. My thing!

Album no. 4/1001 Excellent, a classic. Less keen on the one with the news sampling, but in general, great, relaxed, good music.

Album no. 5/1001 I like something about the rock feel, but the main singer's voice is unpleasant to listen to and I have no personal association. (X couldn't stand it at all)

Album no. 6/1001 Great, but not as quite good as the other Simon & Garfunkel album. Bridge over troubled water, rather be a sparrow than a snail... third/fourth(?) song more punchy, liked The Only Living Boy in New York towards the end more.

Album no. 7/1001. Probably significant for people who relate to it, but not my thing. Lyrically too earnest and repetitive.

Album no. 1/1001 Not my thing. Don't like the singing voice and some songs seem a bit low-effort. Listen for the shocking lyric "she had sex in the hall"!

Album no. 9/1001 Yes! Lorde's best work (a shame that Solar Power doesn't have this sound production quality).

Album no. 9/1001 Better than the other jazz so far?

Album no. 10/1001 Can hear some rock foundations, but not my favourite

Album no. 11/1001 Decent but none of the songs stood out to me on first listen
