1001 Albums Summary

I had not ever listened to this album. In the first song, I recognized it as a rock opera. I knew some of the songs individually but not as part of a story. The overall story was depressing.

The songs seemed repetitive and music sounded similar on all tracks. Lyrics were wanting.

I had not heard most of these songs. I liked it even though it is not in my normal genre

I only knew of Ice T from Law and Order SVU. I did not expect to like the music but I did like it despite its language. Mind Over Matter was my favorite track.

Repetitive

I liked the tracks where she sang. I liked less the rap/talk tracks.

Classic album. Social commentary on the times. Unfortunately still same issue today. I liked the album overall with some songs reminding me of my younger days.

Songs sound the same. Not my style

Screamer music. I didn’t like it. Also too much profanity for my taste.

I did not Know Many of the songs on this album but I liked it a lot.

I like the feeling. It was joyful and peppy. It was in Spanish but that was okay. The instruments were so good.
