1001 Albums Summary

i admittedly judged it before listening but was pleasantly surprised with how cool this album is. lots of neat time signatures, tempo changes, harmonies, weird scales… but also patently grunge

powerful album, felt like some of the sections are a bit overdrawn and self indulgent but man are there some awesome sections

SO GOOD! This is one of those seminal albums that once you hear it, you can hear so many artists that followed clearly inspired by this sound. this is the perfect album coming off of a What’s Going On kick
