Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Feb 22 2024

Not a huge fan. The album is full of energy, and definitely kind of fun, but it really isn't my kind of music. Lyrically felt pretty simple for the most part. Mildly explicit. Sound was okay, but much of it felt very repetitive. Wouldn't be interested in listening again. Favorite song: Sweet child of mine

What a fun album! Bohemian Rhapsody is Bohemian Rhapsody of course, but I found many of the other songs very interesting and enjoyable to listen to as well. Musically the record is very creative and jumps all over the place in a good way. Lyrically the album has good storytelling. There seems to be little to no connection between the songs, but by themselves they work well. While I'm not going to add much of any of these songs to my library, I would definitely give the album a few more listens. Favorite song: '39.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Feb 27 2024

Music that would be playing uncontrollably in my mind while I'm in a drug induced coma. One part interesting and enjoyable, four parts confusing and anxiety inducing. Probably would not listen again. Too scary. But I don't deny there's something here..

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Feb 28 2024

Computery. Radioheady. Could use a few more listens to really know. No song really stood out to me. Myxomatosis has that nice rumble. Mm. I don't mind a wolf at the door either.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Mar 04 2024

I think if you really focus on the music and the lyrics and the sound, there is something here. But feels old. If you don't focus on it, it just sounds like music. Ambulance Blues stood out to me more than the rest
