1001 Albums Summary

1970s British Folk Rock, it’s giving Beatles but less poppy. Interesting because today I feel like this would be called folk or indie and not at all called rock. I liked the instrumentals a lot. Especially the last track with the flute. Its great music for just a calm mellow vibe. One song through, slow Jane, I’m like: is he being misogynistic?? The lyrics are kinda fun to analyze.

Some of the songs hit but some actually give me a headache idk

The guitar and percussion on some songs were really good, but once again some songs just gave me a headache. It’s hard to hear the lyrics through how loud the instruments are. I think I would like these songs individually more in a playlist than I do as an album cohesively. Top Song: New Dawn Fades
