This would have been an absolute four for me even more so than the last album, but the last song of the album has this weird drum beat at the end of it and it pissed me off. 3/5
I don't like Bob Dylan. It was really hard to get through this entire album. Especially while working out, not only was my body under strain, but my mental and ears were under agony
I like jazz and this made me feel like I was back in the 60s smoking a cigarette next to my right hand gal. However, I felt as if ever song was very similar.
Lots of cool songs. A couple of them literally sounded like someone was shitting in my ears Would not listen to whole album again
I listened to it once and thought it was a high 3 for me. I very much enjoyed a good amount of the songs. However, I listened to it again today and enjoyed it even more the second time. The feeling of being in a remote area like a desert or a forest and journeying with this as the sound track brings a calmness over me that I've yet to experience in a while. His smooth, but rough vocals brings a realness that is oft forgotten in lots of mainstream music. Well done.
Cruising with the windows open on a sunny day, there ain't nothing better than this music to accompany my journeys. This is the type of jazz-esque music I love. This was the soundtrack to my weekend and it will be utilized again in the future.
This is a very 80s album. However, where some 80s albums have character, this one lacked in any umph. The main focus of every song was the vocals, but they were extremely lack luster in performance. I tried to find songs I liked, though where I may have liked a singular line of the song, the rest of the song was not hitting the mark. Needless to say, I will not be listening to this again.
Very much 80s punk. One song was from Tony Hawk pro skater and its clear that skaters are the ones who like this type of music. Twas a low 3 for me but I did enjoy it as it was a very different vibe than what I'm usually listening to and it brought about the "screw the system" feeling I infrequently dabble with
It simply exquisite album. Felt like the British version of MCR but with the same friendliness and fun of Electric Light Orchestra. When I say I saved every song to my playlist, I literally mean I saved every song. So nice, I listened to the whole thing twice. Had me bopping ready to take on the world. Led me to a great day yesterday.
Solid album. Nice change of pace. Awesome bass lines. Listened to the whole album twice Their cover of America is really cool and everything displays their intense talent
