When I was a high schooler. Frank Zappa was what the "cool" kids listened to. Not the popular kids, but the kids that I personally thought were cool. Usually these were grungy rock nerds who got into psychedelics way ahead of the developmental curve. Nearly two decades later, I get it. This shit rules. Put this on repeat and vibe. 9 out of 10, and I'm only hedging the 1 point because there are over 900 albums to go.

This album is line watching a classic old action movie. I usually like modern stuff better, but i have to acknowledge that my entire conception of the genre (and all that modern stuff) was shaped by this movie. Does it hold up? Yeah, and someday I'll do a poetry analysis of all those damn lyrics.
