A combination of folk, strings and modern rock. 'The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite', 'Everybody Hurts' and 'Man On The Moon' alone make this a collectable. Amazing recording quality, the drums and orchestration being a stand out throughout. Has a wide spectrum of tracks from the 80s sounding rock of "Ignoreland" with politically charged lyrics to eerie instrumental interlude "New Orleans Instrumental No1", sing-a-longs and a heart wrenching ballad. Unexpectedly dense in tonality and incredible sonic quality, loaded with brooding emotion.

#2 "Is hip hop just a euphemism for a new religion? The soul music of the slaves that the youth is missin'" - Gorgeous Kanye will forever be one of the best producers/samplers in modern hip hop with some of the wildest lyrics ever penned. It's his comical lyricism and self-absorbed bravado that you can never take serious that throws him off being the G.O.A.T. The emotional tenderness of Runaway along with its abrasive 3 minute autotune solo over dramatic strings seals the top spot for me but there are definitely several more solid tracks with gorgeous symphonics, next level sampling, killer beats and a pleasant amount of heavily distorted guitar recurring throughout.

#3 White people playing funky rock while a David Byrne sings over the top. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. Some nice tones and tight rhythms but if I never heard any of these songs again I wouldn't be heartbroken. Not for me.

#4 Great voice, nice collection of songs. Summer Is Over is the standout but it's a bit of a snooze fest to get that far through the album. 1/5
