Of course, CBAT is a GOOD album because the Dan are/were incredibly talented, but it falls a bit flat (both lyrically and instrumentally) when you compare it to their other albums, especially Gaucho or Aja. It’s not an album I’d listen to all the way through, but it has some banger standalone songs (Reelin, Fire in the Hole, Only a Fool, Do it Again) and is a solid first album for a group/artist, so I can’t fault it too much.
