1001 Albums Summary

First song, Bombtrack, has similar riff to later song, Guerilla Radio. This riff is slowed down a considerable amount. Killing in the Name Of has a nice riff. Fuck you I won't do what you tell me.....interesting 🤣. Take the Power Back has a very distinct & catchy bass riff, best song of the album thus far

First half of the album is very good, 4-4.5 stars, second half of album is 2.5-3 stars. About a 3.5 star album.

What a debut! Hard rocking blues "covers" and some rocking original tracks set Led Zeppelin up for a decade of hard rock dominance.

This is a solid album. Most of the songs are palatable with a few highlights along the way. It doesn't reach the highs of superior albums, but the lack of clunkers makes it a nice listen.

Not a huge jazz guy, but this is a nice listen. 3/5
