1001 Albums Summary

I know very little about them - know the music, not the song titles. Reminds me of lake minear or other summer family outings

Never got Bowie. Like a few on here, but still do not get Bowie.

I don’t quite understand the beastie boys. And this albums all over the fucking place. Some pretty entertaining songs though.

First song had me thinking this was gonna be another weird one. However every song after was classic very listenable funk. Nice.

Good, but didnt really wow me or anything. Not sure if i have enough room for another band like this in my head. Kinda boston / kansas…y?

Yawn. Quiet, slow, indie ish country…? Interesting, some songs seemed ok but not gonna check em out more.

I think Bowie might be the music equivalent of “you had to be there” Fame was ok but maybe just bc i knew it. If i get another bowie in the first 10 im out

Sonics walked so the punk could run?? Idk this was the most pleasant surprise so far. Early tones of punk, garage, surf rock for sure

I only knew their 2 big hits before this, and its nothing like those. Enjoyed them way more than I thought i would. Sounds to me like a mix of strokes meets ac/dc (at least on vocals) meets arctic monkeys or something.
