Station To Station by David Bowie
May 01 2024

This guy is better than Aladdin Sane. Maybe not Ziggy Stardust. Basically I had a great time listening but an hour later can't remember a thing of it

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
May 02 2024

It's the same song but it just gets funnier and funnier. If he's got the cash I've got the rizla.

S&M by Metallica
May 03 2024

Masters of puppets, pulling the strings (!!!!) Truth is I was mostly waiting for it to be over. It's also true that I'm not as smart as I think I am.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
May 09 2024

Music so good I didn't give a fuck what Morrissey was moaning about. Docked a point since Nowhere Fast goes exactly where it said it would, and Meat is Murder made me wanna open an abattoir.

World Clique by Deee-Lite
May 10 2024

Was gonna try being all clever n say that this lot wish they were Jockstrap, but nah they're better than Jockstrap and their weird voodoo music. Also kind of admire how the album just gives up on itself after Groove is in the Heart. Why not?

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
May 13 2024

Rebel music kicked in just as I was glimpsing the city skyline on Blackfriars Bridge. Just as Bob would’ve wanted it. All this is to say that this may have been a little lost on me considering. Felt similar to Station to Station, carried by the vibes that I may or may not be fully sold on.

Liquid Swords by GZA
May 14 2024

Better than Mobb Deep for the most part but not the 36 chambers. Vibe actually carries the lyrics more than it seemed. But we live for the vibe

Reign In Blood by Slayer
May 15 2024

Points for some serious riffage, though I’m not sure these guys have done enough to prove they aren’t actually nazis. It’s fun while it lasts but if you’re not mad for it you’ll forget how it goes. Raining Blood is an all timer, mind.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
May 20 2024

At their most musical when they’re at their most misogynistic, which is to say I’m not gonna be coming back to this one too often.

So by Peter Gabriel
May 21 2024

Music to get a pay rise to.
