Talking Heads
The album feels very lowkey
It’s trying to be so funky but it’s really not
Overall „Talking Heads 77“ is quiet normal, desperately trying to be adventurous. While not successful at doing so, it is still unique for this particular reason.
Some songs are worth coming back to like „happy day“ or the hit song „psycho killer“. As a whole it doesn’t hit a spot and is definitely not a must listen, if you’re not a fan, especially regarding the records the band would release later in their career.
