1001 Albums Summary

Dancing Queen is one of the best pop songs of all time I think, that and Money Money Money are classics that are unbelievably catchy and very nostalgic for me. The rest of the album keeps up that vibe well with some great songs and a couple weaker spots. ABBA has always been pretty cheesy but they are unapologetic about it and are such great and catchy songwriters that they make it work, they're undeniable. Not stuff I would necessarily throw on a playlist but I really enjoyed this album.

I like the vibes, very theatrical. Has some really really good songs on there but it does get a bit much at points, it's also longer than it needs to be I think. Quite enjoyed this though and I could easily see this score rising on a relisten. Biggest highlights were Tightrope and Come Alive.

Good and consistent pop record. Not the most engaging or memorable though. This aesthetic is pretty dated I feel. Some bangers though.

Very groovy and catchy, kind of has a jam session quality to it and doesn't overstay its welcome. Enjoyed this a lot.

Beautiful album, could rock a baby to sleep to these songs. The lyrics and vocals are great but it's the instrumentals that shine the most I feel, great playing (especially the keys) and beautifully produced. 'One Of These Things First' and 'Poor Boy' were my favourites here, those songs are both stunning.

Enjoy The Silence and Policy Of Truth are goated, great album

This is a crazy hit parade, like over half of these songs are huge hits, I don't think this is the most cohesive or engaging album experience ever, I honestly think Adele's style gets slightly exhausting over a full album. But it deserves huge props for the amount of timeless songs that are on here, especially since it's not even her first album like that.
