Guero by Beck
Jun 05 2024

It was a little peculiar. Some of the songs lacked direction, and tended to feel meaningless. I quite enjoyed a couple selections, they had nice form and had some direction. I appreciated the technical musical decisions in many of them, despite it not quite turning out perfect every time.

Murmur by R.E.M.
Jun 06 2024

I LOVE THESE GUYS. Some songs were a little repetitive, but for a debut album its a banger. Love it

Jun 14 2024

I understand the importance of this album, but damn. I couldnt get through half of it, i was almost able to like a couple songs, but never quite

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Jun 17 2024

It was a vibe. Spoken word and such, and i love the messages given. I can hear the influence on what this album has had in the funk soul scene. Very cool

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jun 18 2024

Hella weird journey this takes you on. I respect the ambition that you can. Hear in this album, but it was certainly just a concept album. It ended up being quite monotonous, and was rough around the edges. Regardless of that, i enjoyed the vibes and the peculiar journey it gave

Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods
Jun 20 2024

It started super fuckin weird. (2star) Then it got better.(3star) Then it was a banger.(4star) The instrumentation was killer, but i didnt love his voice. Super cool type of album, almost like the entire thing is a rhapsody.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Jun 21 2024

I loveski this. Cool funky sound and the solos are bangin

Greetings From L.A. by Tim Buckley
Jun 26 2024

Weird. Kinda repetitive, he used a lot of the same vocal licks over and over. The instrumentation is cool, and i respect the creativity, but it all kinda meshed into one giant song for me

Jun 28 2024

An absolute trip. Not my type of music at all but it was so fun to listen to and figure out. For the type of music it was intended to be, it was very well done. Extremely unique and interesting, although it tended to kinda be earrape a lot of the way through. A lot of the drumlines were really cool, and many of tue musical elements meshed well despite the grungy instrumentation. 4/5 because i love how insane and cool it is. I also love that it tells a story of forest witches at a witch party

Imagine by John Lennon
Jul 01 2024

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
