An unquestionably important album, though sadly outshined by one of its own tracks. The vibe is good, with a modern sound that still unmistakably has roots in blues and rock music. The record delivers on all the parameters that would make it a good album, but it’s not innovative enough for me and also doesn’t suit my subjective taste. It’s well played and I would maybe rate it a 6/10, but on this scale, it’s a solid 3.
