Duran DuranDidn’t really care for it. Wouldn’t listen to it again , I can see why Hungry Like The Wolf was the most popular single for the album as it was the best song

As far a Bob Dylan music goes, it’s not totally unlistenable. Not a huge Bob Dylan fan , but it was alright to have on in the background
I listened to the album while driving and Motown always hits when driving in the sun, but I found that the album wasn’t hitting as hard as I thought it would. The title track and I Heard It Through The Grapevine were kind of disappointing, but I found the second half of the album was way better which was unexpected. However, by the time the second half of the album was on, it was pouring rain and I was concentrating on not crashing my car which kinda killed the vibe the album was giving off. Overall I really liked the album, but I probably should give it a second listen while sitting in the sun or something.
The song Sledgehammer is about his penis
I’m never really been a big fan of Leonard Cohen, but found this album a bit more enjoyable than the other stuff I’ve heard from him . Kind of had to force myself to finish the album and don’t really remember much of it. I didn’t hate it and it’d be fine if I heard it the background, but not really going out of my way to listen to it and kind of just solidifies my idea that I don’t really care for Leonard Cohen’s music
Supertramp is one of the best to do it, and this album shows it. Every song hits. The singles like Bloody Well Right and Dreamer are great singles, but then songs like Asylum or If Everyone Was Listening also hit just as hard. The harmonica that starts off the album echoes out and gets to ready for a spectacular album. Will listen to 100+ times more in my life
Amazing album. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because I can’t decide between 4 & 5. The opening track started off soft and I was worried it wouldn’t be good, but then it started rocking. No real sleepers, and I’m a huge fan of the early 00s rock sound. But tracks started to all sound the same, and do I think it should be on a list of 1001 albums you MUST listen to before you die? I don’t know because I think a lot of other albums do this sound better
Great album, I don’t even know if Paul Simon even ever misses
It was alright. I like Paul Simon’s music , even though if this genre is not really my style, and I found this album to still be just okay. Besides Mrs Robinson, maybe 2 other songs stood out for me
I tried multiple times to listen to this album and I just could not. I do not understand why this album is on a list of 1001 albums I MUST hear before I die. Unless there’s some history or story to it that I don’t know about, I’d rather never hear it again.
Never really liked Skepta before I listened to this album , and I thought I was going to continue to not really like his music , but this album changed my opinion. Pretty good overall, the energy of the album really picked up after “It Ain’t Safe”. Can see myself putting this album on again the future. IT AIN’T SAFE FOR THE BLOCK, NOT EVEN FOR THE COPS
I tried to listen to it multiple times all the way through and just couldn’t. I feel like I can enjoy the album at a different time , because the general vibe is something I think I’d enjoy, and maybe a sunny afternoon walk wasn’t the place for it. or maybe I just truly don’t like it.
It’s good, some songs go on forecer
Deep Purple is great, and the live album is good, but a bit too long. Sick drum solo though
It good. Was familiar with the C&S&N sound already , and this album pretty much sounded exactly as I expected. Not my favorite, but didn’t hate it
Honestly, kind of fire. With a band name like that I didn’t know what to expect but country music was not it
It’s lit jazz
A classic
