Electric Warrior
T. Rex
I can see how influential this album is. A lot of its sounds and concepts I recognize from other bands and songs that definitely came after. That said, not a big fan of it. It's too glitz, glitter, and pop for me. I like rock but hard rock.
Always cool to glance into the legacy of a genre but unfortunately no saved songs and no real interest to come back.

The Queen Is Dead
The Smiths
Another album that just isn't heavy enough for me unfortunately.
But it does put me back in the mood to listen to more of my old dad rock. I think I might appreciate this album more when I get older and my ears become more sensitive. Right now though I think I'll stick to my usual.

Johnny Cash
Nobody does it like Johnny Cash straight up. I think I both love and hate live albums it's cool to hear the snippets between tracks of Johnny talking to the crowd. Though it'll hurt any relistens or playlist additions.
honestly though. These are not definitive editions of these songs he has studio recordings of all of them so. Doesn't really matter I think. Was a cool album just wish it was a little more polished.

Endtroducing.....
DJ Shadow
it's hard to form an opinion on it because of the sampling making it so... erratic I guess. It does get props for being the one album so far where I've added a song.
The vibes are good I need to sit down proper and analyze the whole album but as a vibe it was nice.

Songs In The Key Of Life
Stevie Wonder
One of the greatest albums of all time and for a damn good reason. It's groovy, it's soulful, it makes me feel alive and most importantly, ive listened to like half of this album despite never listening to this album
you know something is influential when you have several "THAT'S WHERE THATS FROM?!" moments.
Past time Paradise. Isn't She Lovely. Black Man. This is an album I'm gonna show my kids.

These Australians have a distinct sound to 'em it's wild.
that said, for the first wave of punk I see where a lotta the inspiration began. This feels like a distant cousin to modern pop punk and a closer cousin to the specific rock that AC/DC proliferated. Unfortunately it falls into the pitfalls of most albums on here unfortunately. It's just way too poppy for me. No saves but a newfound appreciation which is worth something I suppose.

Really jazzy really smooth. This is the kinda vibe I wanna hear in a speakeasy or a bar with a jukebox.
Sipping on some lemonade on my porch and relaxing. I think we have finally found the first album I'm throwing into my library! The exact jazz I adore.

Trippy... It's really cool and maybe there's a few tracks in here for me to pull for a few playlists but honestly a lotta the album blends together.
I appreciate the haze it puts me in its almost on the same level as Glass Animals. If I smoked this would be the soundtrack.

OH FUCK YEAH.
god. This album is my childhood.
Come on. How am I not gonna give this album full marks? It might be the nostalgia bias but it's my review I can do whatever I want. Papercut, In The End, One Step Closer I've been listening to to years and they're still fantastic works.
Crawling is the one hidden gem I forgot that was on this record and it brought me back to my edgy teenage years. Absolutely amazing album.
