Gentle and beautiful and whimsical. hazey jane ii is my fav off the album... love the album art too <33 i would rec this to anyone who likes sufjan stevens i guess. idk it's nice to listen to just ambiently. 3 stars: i like it a lot! really good! but idk if im gonna go back to listen to these songs much. except hazey jane ii my beloved

Four Women was haunting. What More Can I Say? was beautiful, as was Lilac Wine. I think i want to go back and relisten to this a few more times. Nina Simone's voice is so powerful, it infuses her music with deep sentimentality and emotion. She's truly incredible. I don't think I'll go back to casually listen to many of these songs but I'm so glad I heard them!
