1001 Albums Summary

A beautiful and entertaining album. The title track is the highlight, but there is so much more to discover.

The Rise and Fall has a few Madness classics that make some of the other tracks seem like filler. It's still a fun listen though.

I was over exposed to this album when it came out. I was't looking forward to hearing it again. However, after over 25 years, this album is great. Eno and Lanois did a great production job. The songs are all either good or excellent.

With 19 tracks, this did seem a long slog. It is a nice enough collection of songs, but a bit too much of a country flavour for my taste.

This album would be nice background music at a hipster coffee bar.

Very enjoyable album that has a few sections reminiscent of 1982ish Kate Bush and of Eno/Byrne's My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.
