Red rain: Mysterious production. Lots of layers. love the almost strained vocals from peter. Feels like a great intro to this project. Lyrics paint a vivid scene that matches both the production and vocals 5/5 Sledgehammer: Feels very different than red rain. Banger production and great vocals. Very sussy lyrics tho. Perhaps the first track is foreshadowing??? 4.5/5 Don’t Give Up: A bit boring to start. Love the lush production. Good vocals from Kate Bush. Feels like a bit of a continuation of Red Rain. Powerful lyrics 4.5/5 That Voice Again: Great vocals. Somewhat chaotic and dated production choices. Does blend in well after the previous song. Solid but didn't feel a big connection. 3.5/5 In your Eyes: Great hook. Again great vocals (lol). Love the production 5/5 Mercy Street: Love the ambient production. Reminds me of Depeche Mode. Not a huge fan of the hook. Lyrics are very moving. Wish it progressed more 4/5 Big time: Its a banger. Does feel a bit out of place though. 5/5 We do what we're told: Cool ambient production. Feels very out of place. Weird way to end the album 3/5 Verdict: A fun and enjoyable '80s album with great vocals and productions that at times doesn't quite know what it wants to sound like, but still sounds great nonetheless. 4/5
