Pleasantly surprised! I've never listened to The Doors, but I can see why people like them. I love a good guitar solo and this album is FULL of em. Rip to Jim Morrison though, yikes! I don't know if I'd just turn this album on to listen by myself but when I go home I could see my dad and I listening to it together. I'll give it a 4/5!

this was NOTHING like 'magic dance' from the hit film 'labyrinth.' i feel betrayed! the first song gave me spooky vibes which i didn't like. sorry david, not your best work. i considered giving him a bonus star because he DIED like two days after this was released but then i remembered he's literally david bowie and he doesn't need my pity stars when am i gonna get like a beyonce album in here??? also i just don't think songs need to be longer than 4 minutes, 5 minutes MAX what are we DOING! daily dad update: I loved Bowie. Have you ever seen the video where he sings The Little Drummer Boy with Bing Crosby? (no i have not, dad, but i'll go look and you should too!)

the former jazz band kid in me has to give this at least a 2. i didn't like it and again i'm trying to stay ALIVE AWAKE ALERT ENTHUSIASTIC while working. this made me feel like i was in dreamland. pretty cool he recorded it all in one day! but i can say that i'll probably never listen to this again until maybe my mid life crisis when i rediscover my love for jazz or something like that. i like 'in a silent way' better than the first song fs! daily dad update: no response, he must not like jazz
