Right off the bat, very 80's. It's giving John Hughes. Angels of deception is fun! Okay glad it's over. That was a rough 40 mns
I love these two! A simple desultory Philippic just became a favorite. I haven't heard it before but it sounds like they are throwing shade at Dylan haha.
One of his best!
I didn't hate it. I was only familiar with the first track (Them Bones). Favorite track: Down in a hole. It's giving sad girl. I lied, I know the "Rooster" which is a fun song. Will I listen to this again? probably not. But this was my first full grunge album (don't come at me Seattle.I just moved here.) "Dirt" actually slapped tho. "You, you are so special You have the talent to make me feel like dirt" Correction.. I didn't know "would?" was alice in chains. Okay I might give this album another go.
I knew a bunch of these tracks but was nice to listen to the album in it's entirety. I love Janis so overall enjoyed this album.
What an intro! That first track was so beautiful, and then it led to the next track and that harmonica! Ugh. I have no idea who this band is but twas very pleasant listen in the morning. Blue moon cover was chef's kiss. wait...is this another album of covers? walking after midnight has always been a favorite but damn this their version is so sexy. I'm a fan. added to my discogs wish list.
First time listening to this album in its entirety. Some obvious hits on this. 'Goodbye yellow brick road' is such a beautiful song. I actually enjoyed The Ballad of Danny Bailey. All girls love Alice was not for me. The latter half of this album wasn't my favorite. Since this was a double album, safe to say I did not enjoy Side D.
