Garbage frat-rock, but representative of a whole genre. Only so many times you can rhyme "fuck" with "fuck" before it gets old.
Nice harmony's, very reminiscent of the Beach Boys days, but for me rather forgettable. Perhaps it needs more listens to appreciate the nuance.

More straight folk than PJ Harvey's gypsy-witchy best, but with some pleasant lyrics. Perhaps I just didn't get it and unfairly judged it compared to her other releases.
Beautiful lyrics ranging from hope and optimism, to pain and weariness with the state of the world. An emotionally raw record with some good production, on par with Dave's Psychodrama.
Slightly pretentious lyrics, weirdly funk sounds, the more funky they get, the less cool it becomes. Cool is highly subjective, but I thought the album came across as uncertain as to its maturity.
Politically relevant and raw with great riffs. I'm biased, but 5/5.
