1001 Albums Summary

While I understand the influence Dylan had on the singer/songwriter genre, this album just didn't keep my opinion

An amazing albums, with many tracks I had heard before, without any idea it was Iggy Pop. Many parts of this album were reminiscent of Alice Cooper and David Bowie.....very cool.

Perfect, this album is probably the best in their discography, one could say it's their "Sgt.Peppers" and will go down in history as one of the most influential albums in hip-hop

Classic album with a 70's sound that still fresh and relevant in the here and now

Not my cup of tea. However I dug the Ray Davies style vocals, but still found it hard to grasp.

Grit, gravel & swagger....Rod had all the heart and soul and ability to carry songs, from stompers to the heartfelt.

I didn't realize how much I would dig this album. Although released in the early 90's, it sounds like it could have been released in the late 80's.

Reminded me of Bob Dylan, with very poetic lyrical content, and emotional presentation that matched. Definitely a plus for fans of singer/songwriters and/or Americana music.
